Nominations for the 2021 HVIA National Awards have opened today.
HVIA Chief Executive Todd Hacking said the awards are a great opportunity for HVIA members to celebrate the dedication, innovation and collaboration that has underpinned the resilience of the heavy vehicle industry through challenging times.
“My conversations with our members over the last twelve months have been consistently punctuated by glowing praise for the dedication and commitment of their teams,” Mr Hacking said.
“The results of their passion and innovation were on display, and received with great enthusiasm at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show.
“The 2021 HVIA National Awards are a great opportunity to recognise those efforts and the amazing outputs and outcomes that they have produced.
“It has been a challenging year and yet our industry has stood tall; we hope we will see more nominations than ever to acknowledge that.
“We have also welcomed a record number of new members over the last year and I hope we will see those companies strongly represented amongst the nominations.
“The awards include some categories that reflect individual initiative, growth and performance, and others that are designed to acknowledge the achievements of your company’s achievements or perhaps collaborations across teams.”
“The nomination process is not onerous. It is time very well invested.”
Award categories open include:
- Product Innovation
- Safety Innovation
- Community Leadership
- Apprentice of the Year
- Peter Langworthy Future Leader
