Submissions for round nine of the Heavy Vehicle Safety Initiative (HVSI) grants program opened on November 20, 2023 and will close on Monday, February 19, 2024.
The deadline is fast approaching, but there is still time to finalise applications and get them submitted.
The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator’s HVSI program commenced in 2016, and in that time has invested more than $38 million in grant funding across 150 separate projects.
These projects have included valuable work undertaken by some of HVIA’s members, and HVIA itself (see here for HVIA’s Tyre Restraint and Load Restraint courses funded by HVSI grants).
All projects must address at least one of the key themes of safer drivers, safer vehicles, and safer road use.
