Regulatory impacts on the agenda for State Committee Meetings

Critical regulatory issues that continue to impact members dominate the agenda for this month’s round of HVIA State Committee Meetings, commencing tomorrow in Melbourne.

In the past few days, members have reached out to HVIA to request that issues related to the ROVER administration system for the Road Vehicle Standards Act (RVSA) and the NHVR’s PBS portal be added to the agenda.

These issues will join updates on changes to:

  • heavy vehicle width regulations
  • the Heavy Vehicle National Law
  • the PBS 2.0 project
  • the NHVR’s Safer Freight Vehicles implementation paper
  • Vehicle Standards Bulletin 3.2

Each meeting will feature a guest speaker from the Federal Department of Infrastructure who will present the RVSA post-implementation review findings.
