NatRoad Conference coming to 2019 Brisbane Truck Show

The largest transport event in the Southern Hemisphere just got bigger, with NatRoad and Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) joining forces to bring the 2019 NatRoad Conference to the Brisbane Truck Show.

NatRoad CEO Warren Clark said, “We are excited to partner with HVIA to deliver our next conference at the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show (BTS). The conference will bring together industry leaders, public and private sector experts and allow attendees to hear from and share ideas with key stakeholders in the road transport sector.”

The program will include keynote speakers and align with NatRoad key policy areas focusing on:

  • Long-term sustainability of  trucking businesses
  • Delivering better safety outcomes for the industry
  • Supporting national harmonisation

Todd Hacking, CEO HVIA said, “We’re looking forward to working with NatRoad to bring together the road transport industry’s two must-attend events under one roof. It will provide all stakeholders with a value-packed experience and a great opportunity to share knowledge and learn about innovative developments across the heavy vehicle industry.”

“As Australia’s only national member association dedicated to the needs of Australian road transport operators, NatRoad is well placed to address some of the major challenges that lie ahead of us. This conference truly encompasses our vision of a harmonised road freight industry and will provide a platform where businesses can come together with manufacturers to discuss the future” said Clark.

The conference will be held on 15 May 2019 followed by the Brisbane Truck Show from 16 to 19 May 2019 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event will give delegates an invaluable opportunity to network, connect with industry leaders and generate new business opportunities.
