HVIA Director Nominations Open

HVIA has today commenced the call for nominations pursuant to the HVIA Constitution by emailing the nomination form to all Primary Member contacts.

Any aspiring Director should consult the nomination form and comply with the Directions in order to be considered by the Board Nominations Committee. Completed forms must be received by 5pm Friday, August 23, 2024.

All successful applicants will then be put forward to the HVIA members for election at the AGM which this year will be held at the Kangan Institute, Docklands in Melbourne on Thursday, October 24, 2024 and will include a tour of the Automotive Centre of Excellence.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to join an Executive Club networking event at the Fox Classic Car Museum.

HVIA Directorships are volunteer positions but is a great way to give back to the industry and to assist HVIA in pursuing its vision of an innovative, prosperous heavy vehicle industry supporting the safest, most productive fleet.

Many aspiring Directors are passionate about the industry they are a part of and enjoy the experience of leading a not-for-profit industry association, but it is not a step to be taken lightly, given Directors are subject to the same level of responsibility as a Director of an ASX-listed corporate entity.
