RUD Australia Lifts The Bar With New Wireless Hoist

HVIA member RUD Australia, which sells the Australian-made Endurequip mobile heavy vehicle hoist, is lifting the bar with its expansion into the wireless mobile heavy vehicle hoist industry.

The German-headquartered RUD Group was established in 1875 with its 40-year-old Australian subsidiary a highly respected and well-known name in chain technology and lifting solutions.

RUD Australia also manufactures Endurequip Portalift, which is the only Australian-made mobile chain-driven heavy vehicle hoist sold in Australia for more than 35 years.

RUD Australia managing director Peter Nuttall says it was important to find a suitable partner for its hoist division.

“We are pleased to announce that RUD Australia is the exclusive supplier of German-based mobile heavy vehicle hoists brand, Finkbeiner, effective from the first of August,” he says.

The addition of Finkbeiner to the existing range of Endurequip is good news for both metro and regional workshops across Australia offering a choice of high-quality cabled or wireless hoists.

“We can now offer the choice of an Australian-made chain-driven hoist or a German-made wireless hydraulic hoist.

“Endurequip is manufactured at Brisbane and is the only Australian-made mobile heavy vehicle hoist.

“Finkbeiner, on the other hand is manufactured in Germany and is known worldwide for its engineering heritage,” he adds.

Both Endurequip and Finkbeiner hoists adhere to the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability. They are completely self-contained and mobile, allowing for convenient on-site repairs or flexibility inside workshops. They can handle a wide range of vehicles, from buses to military trucks, with lifting capacities ranging from 10 to 85 tonnes.

“Endurequip has been manufactured in Australia for over 35 years and is the only Australian-made mobile heavy vehicle hoist. It is the most robust and reliable hoist for challenging Australian conditions, including dusty mine sites and wash bays with an IP65 rating,” Nuttall says.

“Our customers stand by its quality, ease of maintenance and long-term reliability, including the RUD chain drive system which lasts decades even with frequent use.

“Each Portalift hoist can be used in combination sets to lift a maximum of 60 tonnes. In addition, we offer an extensive range of automotive workshop accessories such as vehicle stands, ramps and adaptors.”

Nuttall says Finkbeiner is known worldwide for its engineering heritage with hydraulic mobile column lifts. The company pioneered the hydraulic mobile column hoist in 1967, revolutionising workshop flexibility.

“Every Finkbeiner hoist undergoes rigorous testing in Germany from the manufacturing stage to quality control, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability,” he says.

Finkbeiner hoists are quick to set up with fast lifting speeds and are virtually maintenance-free with wireless communication, offering better quality signals over Bluetooth. By combining sets of up to 20 hoists, you can use them for different heavy vehicles in your workshop.

“RUD combines a history of 140+ years in lifting innovation. With the addition of Finkbeiner, we can offer a choice of quality mobile heavy vehicle hoists tailored to the needs of the Australian transport industry,” he adds.

“We will soon launch the Finkbeiner range of accessories, solving a variety of lifting requirements in the agriculture, military, portable dwelling units and rail industries.”

At the same time, Nuttall says RUD Australia is expanding its Endurequip service network to include Finkbeiner so customers can be assured of the same standards of service.

“Fully trained service agents will ensure your hoists perform optimally with regular servicing cycles,” he says.
