Following highly successful events in Western Australia and Queenland, HVIA members in New South Wales and Victoria backed it up with impressive turnouts in their respective states.
For the first time, 10-year HVIA member TRS hosted the NSW Member Forum at its impressive headquarters in Huntingwood, where attendees were also treated to a colourful factory tour that highlighted the refrigerated body manufacturer’s focus on quality, technology and advanced manufacturing.
Impressively, the NSW forum featured the highest-ever female representation at HVIA’s regular member event, at almost a quarter of all attendees.

Not to be outdone, HVIA members in Victoria turned out in force for the final Member Forum for the Q3 period at CMV Truck and Bus in Derrimut.
More than 50 members gathered to enjoy barista coffee at CMV’s on-site café, networking, a wide range of technical, regulatory, advocacy and policy discussions, and in another first, the chance to get hands-on with the Protran/Sunswap solar-powered refrigerated semi-trailer.
“It is so encouraging to see these member events continually go from strength to strength”, says HVIA’s Chief Engineer, Rachel Michaud.

“It is one of the highlights of my role to be in a position where we can bring different members together to meet, chat and discuss the issues that matter.”
Those sentiments were also echoed by HVIA’s Chief Technical Officer, Adam Ritzinger. “We continually strive to deliver more value for members at each event, and we’re always on the lookout for new venues to host us,” he adds.
