The final Victorian Member Forum for 2026 will be held next week on Monday, November 9, 2026 at the Geotab-Swinburne Transport Innovation Hub, at Swinburne University in Hawthorn. Register here!
The meeting will feature a slightly compressed HVIA agenda to make room for a tour of some of Swinburne’s leading facilities such as the ‘Factory of the Future’, the Intelligent Robotics Lab and Mobile Innovation Lab.
The forum will cover market developments and new technologies from IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, as well as a run-down of HVIA advocacy and working group initiatives undertaken throughout Q3 and Q4 2026.
HVIA Member Forums provide an opportunity for members to engage in discussion and decision-making on a broad range of issues affecting the industry including advocacy, technical and regulatory information, and workforce development initiatives.

They also serve as a useful professional development activity for technically-focussed members seeking to maintain their chartered and professional status.
Attendees consistently enjoy the chance to get up to speed on the important developments in their industry, as well as the informal networking with colleagues and friends over morning tea.
Registrations are already strong with more than 40 Melbourne-based HVIA members set to attend.
Held quarterly in QLD, NSW, VIC and WA, HVIA Member Forums are a regular interactive forum to inform members on current and emerging issues and opportunities, tap into the views of our membership, and get together with your peers. They are exclusive to HVIA members – and a crucial part of a rich suite of member benefits including government advocacy, technical and HR assistance, workforce development and training programs, news and information services, networking and national events, including the world-class Brisbane Truck Show.
