Trials Streamline HV Access In SA
The NHVR together with the SA state and local governments have implemented several Oversize Overmass trial notices to replace the need for the heavy vehicle industry to apply for permits on key routes.

In late November last year, HVIA reported that the Australian Government and the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) has allocated $4.2 million to round 10 of the Heavy Vehicle Safety Initiative (HVSI), which is dedicated to industry-led road safety projects.
