Throughout February and March, the NHVR will host collaborative workshops across the country to gain industry insights to inform Vision 2035 – a project developed to help inform the regulator’s future planning and strategy.
Interim CEO Janelle van de Velde says with Australia’s heavy vehicle industry rapidly evolving, the national regulator wants to ensure its practices and policies remain relevant and continue to add value to industry.
“A critical part of Vision 2035 is gaining insights and predictions from industry on how the future of the heavy vehicle industry may evolve over the next decade – identifying key trends, opportunities and challenges,” she says.
“These inclusive workshops will be the first step in this extensive project, and we want to include a broad range of voices and viewpoints from across diverse sectors within the heavy vehicle industry, to ensure our future NHVR strategies are truly representative.
“Your participation in our workshops will be highly valued and give you an opportunity to share your insights on the future state of the heavy vehicle industry directly with the NHVR, alongside your industry peers.
“Your ideas and contributions will be collated and analysed, and ultimately assist in shaping the future direction of the regulator.”
