HVIA has kicked off its 2026 Member Forums with record member turnout in Victoria and a great showing in Queensland.
Proceedings kicked-off in Brisbane on Wednesday, March 4 at HVIA’s headquarters in Seventeen Mile Rocks, before heading to CMV Truck and Bus in Derrimut, the industrial and logistics heartland of Melbourne’s west, the following day.
A total of 50 HVIA members attended the Victorian forum, indicating that HVIA members are more engaged in key industry developments than ever before.
The HVIA team provided updates on key advocacy, regulatory, technical and policy issues, as well as Todd Hacking’s CEO report, a run-down of the 2025 HVIA National Award winners, a TruckShowX 2026 update, the return of TruckWeek for 2026, and the launch of HVIA’s new Women’s Network.

HVIA also welcomed Gareth Ridge and Hugo Velasquez from Zenobe Australia, who presented insights and lessons from Australia’s first multi-user truck charging facility in Mascot, NSW.
Not to be outdone, HVIA’s Western Australian and New South Wales Member Forums will be held this week and are again set to see new attendance records in each state. Excitingly, the WA Forum will be held for the first time at Bruce Rock Engineering, and the NSW forum will feature a site tour of the Zenobe facility.
Member Forums are the best way to ensure you are aware of all the major changes and updates impacting Australia’s heavy vehicle industry. As always, any employee from any of HVIA’s member organisations are invited to attend.
All Member Forums are advertised in this newsletter and registration can be completed online.
