The Canberra Institute of Technology has officially launched the Electric Vehicle TAFE Centre of Excellence Regional Training Roadshow, a national initiative delivering essential, accredited training in electric vehicle (EV) safety and maintenance directly to relevant businesses.
The roadshow kicked off in Dubbo, NSW and is available for both city and regionally located members. The courses are nationally recognised and meet both Commonwealth and State Government licensing requirements, making them a smart investment in both safety and compliance that support manufacturer-specific training.
The roadshow offers hands-on, accredited training in core EV competencies, including depowering and reinitialising EVs, battery inspection and maintenance, and high-voltage diagnostics. The hybrid model combines online learning with practical, on-site sessions, all designed to minimise disruption to businesses daily operations.
For members interested in bringing the roadshow to their sites, we encourage you to get in touch with CIT directly on (02) 6205 0015 or at cit.edu.au/EVelectricvehiclecentreofexcellence@cit.edu.au to explore tailored training options for your region or multiple sites.
