
The Federal Department of Infrastructure has unveiled the date for the next Rover release (Version 9.2) which will be deployed on November 27, 2024 and involve a system outage from 5:00pm to 10:30pm (AEDT).
Following on from ROVER Version 9.1, the changes implement more of the issues raised in the August workshop the Department held with industry. Read more here.
Specifically, this release will include:
> Viewing a published RVD;
> Viewing individual compliance information forms;
> Downloading application summaries, datasheets and RVDs;
> Enhancements to the filtering of invoices;
> Simplified updates to design and/or manufacturing facility; and
> Improved filtering of published component type approvals, published testing facility approvals and approval lists.

The Department has also announced that it has updated and consolidated a number of guides and information resources to reflect the latest changes to the Register of Approved Vehicles software and provide clarity to users.
The updated and consolidated guides and resources clarify requirements and provide additional information. In particular, the following two documents reflect the changes to the RAV:
