HVIA’s Chief Technical Officer Adam Ritzinger will discuss technology and decarbonisation in the trucking industry at a special presentation for CILTA members and guests in Newcastle on Thursday, March 26.
All Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILTA) members and guests are invited to attend and can register here.
Adam’s presentation will highlight how the heavy vehicle industry is using technology to decarbonise, improve road safety and increase productivity.
It will be an exciting introduction to the topics that will be presented and discussed by dozens of transport industry leaders at HVIA’s upcoming TruckShowX 2026 conference and expo to be held in the New South Wales Hunter Valley on May 18-19, 2026.
TruckShowX 2026 is set to feature dozens of case studies from real-world operations showing how the transport industry is moving the needle on decarbonisation, productivity, safety and efficiency, in a range of different sectors.
Adam is looking forward to giving CILTA members and guests a snapshot into where the industry is at, and what is coming for TruckShowX.
“I have spent my entire career working at the intersection of trucking technology and safety, productivity and efficiency outcomes, and explaining the great work our industry does is an absolute highlight,” he says.
“I’m also really looking forward to TruckShowX and hope to see many local New South Wales businesses and fleet operators attending.”
To be held on May 18-19, 2026 at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, the program will include an expo showcasing technology, equipment and services across a range of new areas, a unique ‘Drive Day’ opportunity to get behind the wheel of the latest truck models from leading manufacturers, and for the first time, a trailer display.
The preliminary program is available here, and tickets can be purchased here.
