HVIA have now released the preliminary agenda for the next round of Member Forums, to be held in capital cities across Australia in late July.
As flagged last week, the coming round of Member Forums features new locations and formats for WA and NSW-based members, including site tours of hosts Scania’s brand-new depot in Hope Valley WA, and Transport Refrigeration Service’s national headquarters in Huntingwood, NSW.
Also, Victoria-based attendees will get hands-on with truck and trailer decarbonisation technology at the CMV Truck and Bus depot in Derrimut – the Protran/Sunswap solar-powered semi-trailer that was displayed at TruckShowX 2026 will be at the venue, and its benefits and capabilities will be presented in a special session during the meeting.
As always, all staff from any of HVIA’s member organisations are welcome to attend. HVIA staff were incredibly pleased that Member Forums in 2025 saw the highest level of member engagement to date, which was again increased in 2026.
Attendees consistently enjoy the chance to get up to speed on the important developments in their industry, as well as the informal networking with colleagues and friends over morning tea.
The agenda is available here and will touch on many topical areas across technical matters, regulations, policy, general advocacy and HVIA’s working groups.
Note that attendees wishing to participate in either of the Scania, TRS or CMV site activities will need to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.
