HVIA members in New South Wales are encouraged to explore two CSIRO internship programs connecting businesses with talented university students while supporting innovation, sustainability and workforce development.
NSW Skills for Net Zero supports businesses undertaking projects involving emissions reduction, energy efficiency, sustainability reporting and other environmental initiatives.
Generation STEM Links connects businesses with undergraduate STEM students who can contribute to engineering, research, data analysis, technology and innovation projects.
Both programs provide recruitment support and financial assistance of $2,500, subject to their respective conditions.
The opportunities build on HVIA’s successful collaboration with CSIRO at the With STEM You Can Careers Expo in Western Sydney in August, where HVIA members Team Global Express, Daimler Truck and Air Brake Corporation joined forces to showcase our industry’s diverse career pathways to 739 students from 19 schools.
