Truck and trailer dealer Brown and Hurley has unveiled plans to open a new branch at the Port of Brisbane on September 1.
Located at 21 Inghams Place, Hemmant, just near the Port of Brisbane Motorway, the new facility will allow the company to provide faster, more convenient service to transport operators working in one of Queensland’s busiest freight hubs.
The branch will be a full-service destination for truck sales, parts and servicing and, Brown and Hurley states, reflects its “commitment to supporting customers where they need us most”.
Founded in 1946, the family-owned and operated business has 16 (soon to be 17) branches throughout Queensland and northern NSW, principally selling and servicing Kenworth and DAF trucks as well as a range of trailers including Kreuger, Schmitz Cargobull and Hercules.
More recently, it expanded into agricultural machinery with the opening of a Brown and Hurley Agriculture branch at Ayr in North Queensland, selling a range of brands including Case IH and New Holland.
