Have Your Say On Future EV Training Needs

The Jobs and Skills Council for the automotive sector, the Australian Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance (AUSMASA), is seeking industry feedback on several training projects, including the review of the Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology and 10 associated units of competency. Consultation closes November 6.

Additional consultations closing at the end of October cover working safely in the EV supply chain, digital diagnostics and vehicle networking systems, and agricultural and marine mechanical qualifications.

These consultations provide an important opportunity for the heavy vehicle industry to ensure emerging training requirements reflect the practical needs of industry, particularly as new technologies reshape the skills required across manufacturing, maintenance and support.

Members can explore current projects and provide feedback through the AUSMASA consultation portal.

HVIA encourages members to participate, whether by attending a webinar, contributing to a consultation or sharing these opportunities with colleagues.
