ZF [pro]Service Network Adds New Partners

The ZF [pro]Service network operated by HVIA member ZF Australia is continuing to expand with two existing WABCO technology partners – BDM Heavy Vehicle Repairs and JME Engineering – extending their agreements to now include ZF driveline and transmission service, enabling them to provide manufacturer-backed support for bus and truck fleets across their coverage areas.

The move reflects the sustained growth of the service network nationwide and highlights the confidence existing partners are placing in ZF’s aftermarket support, technical expertise and long-term vision for the Australian commercial vehicle market, says Damon Baffico, Head of Sales CV AM and OE Trailer Oceania at ZF.

“When established businesses such as BDM Heavy Vehicle Repairs and JME Engineering choose to upgrade their agreements with us, it reflects their confidence in the support, training and technical expertise that ZF provides,” he says.

“Together, we are building a stronger national service network — one that delivers consistent, manufacturer-backed expertise and helps fleet operators maximise uptime wherever they operate.”

Established in 2008 as a one-person mobile workshop, BDM Heavy Vehicle Repairs has grown into a team of 11 servicing customers right across NSW’s mid-North Coast. It supports a broad customer base, from owner-drivers through to large fleet operators, and operates as a Mack, Volvo and UD service centre, delivering contract maintenance and warranty repairs.

Located in the transport hub of the Illawarra, JME Engineering has been operating since 1999 and offers customers a one-stop shop for heavy vehicle services. Employing 25 full-time specialists, including mechanical technicians, auto electricians, metal fabricators, spray painters, sandblasters and WABCO-trained truck and trailer brake technicians, JME delivers comprehensive heavy vehicle maintenance, compliance, fabrication and repair solutions.

ZF [pro]Service is a next-generation workshop concept established by ZF Aftermarket to prepare commercial vehicle workshops for future demands while supporting the entire ZF product portfolio. The program brings together the former ZF Service Point and WABCO Service Partner programs into a unified global platform delivering end-to-end support, including diagnostics, technical training, marketing assistance and warranty authorisation.

Partners also benefit from direct access to ZF technical specialists and up-to-date repair and maintenance information, enabling them to maximise uptime for fleet customers.

Globally, the ZF [pro]Service network comprises more than 3,300 partners, with over 30 located across Australia.
