Join us for HVIA’s National Awards Gala Dinner

The HVIA Gala Awards Dinner returns to Brisbane’s stunning Emporium Hotel South Bank on Friday 25th November 2022.

HVIA Chief Executive Todd Hacking said the Gala Dinner was making a welcome return, having been “on ice” for three years.

“We are delighted to invite our members and friends to come together for this special occasion where we will celebrate some of the great achievers and achievements of the last twelve months,” Mr Hacking said.

“This is a great opportunity to meet up with colleagues and industry peers, even if you aren’t involved in the awards nominations.”

Finalists from HVIA’s Southern Region were honoured at an event in Melbourne last month. The remaining finalists will be recognised at the dinner before the National Winners are announced for each of five categories:

  • National Apprentice of the Year Award
  • Peter Langworthy Future Leader Award
  • Community Leadership Award
  • Product Innovation Award
  • Safety Innovation Award

“Every nominee deserves enormous praise,” Mr Hacking added. “HVIA’s national awards are an inspiring process to be a part of.

“Every year we honoured to witness more of our members’ extraordinary innovation and ingenuity being revealed;

“That is along with the joy it brings us to recognise some amazing young industry people at the start of what we expect to be a long and fulfilling career in the heavy industry.

“I hope as many of our members as possible will join us for this well-deserved celebration.

“A big thanks to our Principal Partners NTI, Truck Assist and Wurth for their loyal support that is so important in making events like this possible.”

The HVIA Gala Awards dinner will take place on Friday 25 November 2022. Tickets are on sale now.
