The opt-in period which allowed Vehicle Type Approval holders to convert their approvals to Type Approvals finished on 31 December 2021.
Manufacturers who have not opted-in will need to fill out a new Vehicle Type Approval application from scratch and supply the required information in full, if they want to keep supplying the vehicles to market after 30 June 2022.
