TruckShowX 2026 Kicks Off In Hunter Valley

The highly anticipated TruckShowX conference and expo kicked off today at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, with HVIA CEO Todd Hacking welcoming the capacity audience to the two-day event to “share ideas, challenge assumptions, showcase innovation and, most importantly, help shape the future of freight and transport in Australia”.

“This year’s theme — ‘Driving the Future’ — could not be more relevant as our industry navigates transformational change in technology, sustainability, productivity, safety and supply chain disruption,” he told attendees.

Among the industry’s leading thinkers, operators, suppliers, innovators and technical experts scheduled to share their expertise, insights and real-world experiences over the two-day event, the morning session heard insightful presentations from leading operators including Russell Transport, Toll, Multiquip, Centurion, AJM Transport, Team Global Express, Wettenhalls and FBT Transwest, key policy makers from Transport for NSW, NSW Department of Climate Change, Australian Renewable Energy Agency and Clean Energy Finance Corporation, and key suppliers including Daimler Truck, Volvo, Allotrac, Geotab, WHG and Zenobe.

In between the sessions, attendees flocked to TruckShowX’s jam-packed expo featuring 40+ market leaders showcasing the latest in trailer equipment, future energy, telematics, powertrain technology, vehicle charging and safety systems; and its unique drive day offering the rare opportunity to experience an on-road test drive of the latest low- and zero-emissions vehicles on offer in Australia.
