The 2026 recipients of the Transport Women Australia Limited (TWAL) ‘Driving the Difference’ scholarships were celebrated at the organisation’s annual conference in Melbourne recently.
Daimler Truck Australia Pacific has backed this program, which offers a unique opportunity for women to enter the transport industry or to upskill to advance themselves in their chosen transport related field, since 2019.
The 2026 TWAL ‘Driving the Difference’ Scholarship recipients included:
> Jen Vella, TransCrane
> Chloe Hunt, StarTrack
> Brittany Grech, Divalls Bulk Haulage
> Chelsea Moen, Australian Glass Group
> Mandy Solar, Followmont Transport
Daimler Truck Australia Pacific President and CEO, Daniel Whitehead, says the truck maker is proud to work with TWAL “to help enrich the transport and logistics sector and help more women make their way in this field”.
“We’ve been thrilled to see the difference that past scholarship recipients are making in the industry. They are a great endorsement of the initiative,” he adds.
The scholarship recipients were presented certificates at the TWAL ‘Driving the Difference’ conference by Daimler Truck Australia Pacific Head of Marketing and Communications, Dr Stefanie Tralaggan.
“It was an honour to present the certificates to the 2026 scholarship recipients and hear about their amazing work,” she says.
“Each one of them is achieving great things already and we are so pleased to be able to help them advance even further in the industry,” she concludes.
