Thank you to members who have already completed the new industry footprint survey being conducted by Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia in partnership with world renowned consulting firm KPMG.
The project includes a research project that will map the full breadth, capacity and impact of the heavy vehicle industry in Australia.
HVIA Chief Executive Todd Hacking says the information will play a vital role in HVIA’s advocacy to government on behalf of the industry.
HVIA corporate member contacts are urged to complete the survey as soon as possible.
“With a number of contentious issues shortly up for debate this has never been more important,” Mr Hacking said.
“In order to articulate our message effectively and to improve our chances to influence policy, HVIA needs really strong evidence.”
“Once completed, this report will be available to all HVIA members and will help HVIA to prosecute our policy positions.”
This survey will help validate the statistics and evidence that is publicly available through resources such as the NHVR, NTC, DIRDC, ABS etc.
“Whilst completing the survey is optional and voluntary I sincerely hope all members understand the importance of the report and can assist accordingly,” Mr Hacking added.
Mr Hacking invites members to contact him directly with any questions about the project.
KPMG’s partnership with HVIA includes hosting the KPMG Insights Centre free business insights seminar program at the 2019 Brisbane Truck Show.
