Soul Safe Courses & Certification Regime

The first of two courses provides all staff of a business a free 60-minute micro-credential certificate in the basics of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) covering what precautions and processes staff should do from the moment they wake up, to when they return home from work.

More than a checklist, the short course teaches the ‘how to do things safely’ as much as the ‘what needs doing’.

A second, much more comprehensive 1-day course, the IPC Statement of Attainment is recommended for at least one nominated senior staff member, who becomes a business’s ‘Soul SafeTM Representative’.

To be Soul SafeTM Certified, businesses will need to have had all staff complete the certificate and at least one senior staff member gain the Statement of Attainment. Thereafter, for a monthly fee, a business can be Soul SafeTM Certified, which can be marketed to customers and other stakeholders as a badge of assurance.

The certification is reviewed on a quarterly basis, as which point staff and/or the Soul SafeTM Representative may be required to undertake a free, updated fresher course to ensure the business has the most up-to-date, accurate and relevant information.
