ROVER, RAV Outage This Friday For Portal Rebuild

The ROVER Portal – the online portal for applications and approvals under the Road Vehicle Standards legislation – will be unavailable from 5pm this Friday, June 7 until 9am Wednesday, June 12 to allow the Department of Infrastructure to implement the planned rebuild.

The Department recommends users submit their applications by midday this Friday to be safe. The RAV portal will also be unavailable from 5pm Friday, June 7 until 5pm Saturday, June 8.

The rebuild of the ROVER portal and the updates to the RAV are due to a change in the software platform used by the Department to run the ROVER portal and the RAV.

The RAV will be largely unchanged following the rebuild but there will be simplification of some of the ROVER screen. A summary of the ROVER changes can be found here.

More detail on the rebuild including links to a video demonstrating the changes can be found on the ROVER portal rebuild page.
