Rachel Michaud Appointed Chief Engineer

HVIA is excited to announce Rachel Michaud has been appointed to the new role of Chief Engineer, working alongside Chief Technical Officer Adam Ritzinger and the rest of the team.

Rachel brings to HVIA more than 10 years of experience at Knorr-Bremse across a variety of roles, including Lead Applications Engineer, Technical Account Manager – OEM Truck and, most recently, After Sales Manager.

Prior to joining HVIA she held the position of Lead Mechanical Engineer – PBS at the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.

Rachel has been very active as a HVIA member attending Member Forums and Executive Club events and even being involved in our Advisory Committee and the Brisbane Truck Show Tech Tours.

Chief Executive Todd Hacking says HVIA’s Technical Advocacy is a vital service for members and provides real tangible outcomes to improve the industry.

“Adam has done a wonderful job and I know Rachel is going to be an amazing addition to our team,” he says.

Rachel adds, “I am really excited for the opportunity to represent our wonderful industry and work towards improving safety and productivity through technical solutions, advocacy and providing support to our many members and stakeholders.”
