HVIA partners with Soul Safe™
Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) has welcomed Australian company Soul Safe™ as its exclusive Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) training and certification partner.
HVIA Chief Executive Todd Hacking said Soul Safe™ addresses the need for HVIA member companies to train staff to provide a safe and Covid free environment for customers and workers.
“Through their training and certification Soul Safe™ help businesses returning from COVID-19 isolation to the workplace,” Mr Hacking said.
“Many of our members have done an astounding job in rolling out new social distancing and hygiene procedures as they continued to provide essential support for their customers in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“As restrictions begin to ease, Soul Safe™ training will really help businesses of all sizes quickly adjust to the new normal.”
Soul Safe™ Chief Executive Jack Martin says the online training framework responds to changes to guidelines and new learnings about the virus.
“Any business owner or director contemplating a return to the workplace post COVID-19 will understand the complexity of getting up to speed and staying up-to-date with official guidance and ensuring that your return to work plan has rigour, manages risk for both customers and staff, and has buy-in from your workforce. Soul Safe™ helps with all of this,” said Mr Martin.
“As a company, Soul Safe™ is interested in reducing the cost and timeframe for businesses to return to the workplace and minimise, if not prevent, downtime from outbreaks.
“There is an economy-wide dividend from streamlining the return to the workplace for entire sectors and helping ensure they keep their doors open as the pandemic continues to evolve.”
Mr Hacking says the Soul Safe™ certification will inspire confidence.
“Soul Safe™ will remove a great deal of the uncertainty for business owners and managers, providing staff and customers with assurance, keeping everyone safe, their businesses compliant and the doors open,” he said.
