Membership Application

Companies applying for HVIA Membership during the Financial Year will have their membership fees calculated on a pro rata basis. HVIA membership fees are calculated based upon company staff you employ nationally. * This means that all staff employed by the Member company including wholly owned branches/subsidiaries have full access to HVIA benefits and services.

A one-time joining fee of $220.00 (including GST) is applicable.

Member Application Form

Full HVIA member services are available to the parent company (head office) and all its wholly owned branches and subsidiaries no matter where they are located in Australia.

This means that all staff employed by the Member company and all its branches/subsidiaries have full access to the benefits and services that HVIA offer.

Membership Criteria

According to the HVIA Constitution, to be eligible for membership an individual or group must be:

  • A natural person who is a Trader or Servicer and who is carrying on a business on his (or her) own account;
  • A company that carries on business or is engaged in the Trade; and
  • A natural person who is carrying on business or is engaged in the Trade.

Additionally, members must:

  • Have an ABN;
  • Employ people in Australia;
  • Be engaged in trade or commerce in the heavy vehicle industry – or supply business to the heavy vehicle industry.

Any application for ordinary membership may be accepted or rejected by the Board as it thinks fit.
