HVIA has kicked off the new year by welcoming four new members to the fold, continuing the strong membership growth which seen total membership exceed 300 in the past two financial years.

The member-based industry association boasts a membership including all of Australia’s truck OEMs (original equipment manufacturer) and importers, almost all trailer makers and suppliers, and most parts and accessories manufacturers and distributors.

RampTech is a research and design workshop operating from the small country town of Iona, in East Gippsland, Victoria.

Douglas Donaldson is the director of Automated Truck Curtain Systems, trading as Ramp Tech.

The company has produced an automated truck curtain system that it claims is faster, safer and tighter, with substantially lower maintenance costs that also saves on fuel.

With no heavy poles, or buckles, Ramp Tech takes the hassle out of opening and closing truck curtains.

What’s more, the Ramp Tech system is a flat pack-type installation with easily replaceable parts.
