HVIA Support Women In HV Industry

HVIA is proud to share that we have become a major sponsor of the Tradeswomen Australia Scholarship Program for 2025, helping fund 25 scholarships for women apprentices in male-dominated trades.

This partnership reflects our strong belief that diversity drives innovation, productivity and industry sustainability.

Over the past two years, this program has supported 15 women facing financial and social barriers, helping them stay in their apprenticeships and build secure, long-term careers.

Each scholarship covers essential financial support and wrap-around mentoring, ensuring women not only complete their apprenticeships but also succeed as skilled professionals in our industry.

This is about creating a stronger, more diverse talent pipeline for the future of heavy vehicle manufacturing and services.

HVIA is proud to support five scholarships in 2025 and we encourage members to consider sponsoring the scholarship initiative.

Alternatively, look out for the scholarships to open in 2025 and nominate the women apprentices you have in your team. Together, we can strengthen our industry and make a real difference.
