HVIA has released the agenda for its first online member meeting for 2024, to be held Thursday, May 30 from 1:00-3:00pm (Brisbane time).
As unveiled earlier this year, two of HVIA’s in-person state meetings each year have transitioned to online meetings, and an annual networking event for all members will be held in each of Queensland, NSW, Victoria, and WA.
The name ‘State Committee Meeting’ has been retired and replaced by ‘HVIA Member Forum’, and the new networking events will be called ‘HVIA Connect’.
Registrations for the inaugural Online Member Forum have been strong, and the HVIA team are looking forward to providing updates on key advocacy/regulatory/technical/policy issues, as well as a complete run-down of the enormously successful TruckShowX event.
A guest speaker from the National Transport Commission (NTC) will attend and present on its autonomous vehicles project, which is currently setting the laws for how future autonomous vehicles will operate. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions.
Full details, including a detailed agenda, are available here. Members can register here.
As always, members are invited to submit any technical/regulatory/policy issue for discussion at any meeting. Please contact Adam Ritzinger (a.ritzinger@hvia.asn.au, or Adele Lausberg (a.lausberg@hvia.asn.au).
