The HVIA Gala Awards Dinner is back with a welcome return to Brisbane’s stunning Emporium Hotel South Bank on 25th November 2022.
HVIA Chief Executive Todd Hacking said the Gala Dinner had been “on ice” for three years as a casualty of the COVID pandemic, replaced by breakfast events with limited capacity and parallel online broadcasts.
“Being able to get together with our friends and peers is so important,” Mr Hacking said.
“We are delighted to be in a position to host this special event in Brisbane where we will recognise some of the great achievers and achievements of the last twelve months.
“Even if you aren’t involved in the awards nominations, this is a great opportunity to meet up with colleagues and industry peers.
“I send that message to our members and friends Australia-wide.”
Nominations for the five main categories closed last week, with a strong field of nominations now being scrutinised by the category judges.
Finalists from HVIA’s Southern Region will be recognised at the HVIA Executive Club taking place in Melbourne on the same day as HVIA’s Annual General Meeting on Thursday 20th October.
“Our industry has been through its own unique experiences alongside the trials and tribulations experienced by the broader community.
“We have seen some extraordinary innovation and ingenuity come out of the challenges of the last couple of years.
“Those experiences bond us, and that support network can really help us to move forward with purpose.
“That is why I hope as many of our members as possible will join with us for this well-deserved celebration.
“A big thanks also to our Principal Partners NTI and Truck Assist for their loyal support that is so important in making events like this possible.”
THe HVIA Gala Awards dinner will take place on Friday 25 November 2022. Ticket will go on sale in early October.
