Attendees consistently enjoy the chance to get up to speed on the important developments in their industry, as well as the informal networking with colleagues and friends over morning tea.

The agenda for the October round is packed and features the following:

  • Developments on truck width increases, and possible next steps;
  • HVNL review – mass increases for Euro VI trucks;
  • New HVIA training course release – load restraint and tyre management;
  • Technical topics – VSB6 generic data, 3G network shutdown, tag trailer mass ratio, tow truck wheel lifts, and more; and
  • Road Boss magazine and TruckShowX – HVIA’s flagship zero-emissions industry event for 2024.

Each meeting will also feature a short presentation from Aaron De Rozario, Executive Leader of Regulatory Reform at the National Transport Commission, who will explain the NTC’s HVNL consultation Regulatory Impact Statement (C-RIS) and take questions from members.
