Construction Logistics and Community Safety – Australia (CLOCS-A) will host a forum in Sydney on December 8 that will bring together industry leaders, government representatives and transport operators to discuss safer, smarter and more sustainable approaches to construction logistics.
The CLOCS-A regulation is a national standard that seeks to improve road safety by setting consistent safety requirements for heavy vehicles working on construction projects. It focuses on vehicle visibility, safe operations and minimising risks to vulnerable road users.
From August 26, 2025, all heavy construction vehicles involved in NSW Government tenders must meet CLOCS-A Bronze safety standards.
The CLOCS-A Safety Forum: Vision Zero in Construction Logistics event will unite the CLOCS-A community as they tackle the most pressing challenges in construction logistics.
Through expert collaboration, the sharing of best practices and addressing common challenges, the forum will elevate industry standards, strengthen community safety and drives meaningful, lasting change.
Under the theme Vision Zero in Construction Logistics, this forum will showcase innovative approaches, bold strategies and proven solutions aimed at minimising fatalities and serious injuries on our roads.
Participants will gain valuable insights from industry leaders, government representatives and safety experts on how to embed the CLOCS-A Standard into planning, procurement and everyday operations.
Interactive workshops will provide practical guidance on CLOCS-A accreditation, driver education and auditor training.
