The Brisbane Truck Show was launched by the Hon Mark Bailey MP, Minister for Transport and Main Roads, following the official opening breakfast.
Guests also heard from Charles Perrottet, representing Platinum Partner BP Australia, and HVIA President John Drake.
The breakfast featured an insightful presentation from KPMG’s Brendan Richards.
Brendan, KPMG’s National Sector Leader – Transport & Logistics, is heading up the collaborative project with HVIA to map the full breadth, capacity and impact of the heavy vehicle industry in Australia.
Brendan explained the information will play a vital role in HVIA’s advocacy to government on behalf of the industry.
