Daimler Trucks Shepparton was officially opened with a special ceremony earlier this month. The event was attended by customers, local dignitaries, senior Daimler Truck executives and the Daimler Trucks Shepparton team led by Tristar Truck and Bus head David Warren.
Guests included Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali, Northern Victoria MP Wendy Lovell, and Shepparton MP Kim O’Keeffe, along with the Head of Daimler Truck Overseas Andreas von Wallfeld, the Chief Financial Officer of Daimler Truck Overseas Pierre Kriek, and Daimler Truck Australia Pacific President and CEO Daniel Whitehead.
Whitehead says the new operation is hugely positive for Daimler Truck given the success of the Tristar group’s Daimler Trucks Albury and Daimler Trucks Wagga dealerships and the importance of the greater Shepparton region.

“Dave and the team have really gone above and beyond to create this new Shepparton dealership and expand their legendary service to a new group of customers in a critical hub for Australian trucking,” he says.
“Daimler Trucks Albury was our Daimler Truck Dealer of the Year in 2022 for good reason. It has demonstrated incredible support for its customers day in and day out and we are so pleased that our Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso customers in the greater Shepparton region can now also experience this.“
While the dealership officially opened earlier this month, it had been supporting customers since January 1 this year.
