The unit began its journey in Melbourne with a media call supported by the NRL’s Magic Round and held in front of the Melbourne Storm’s headquarters at AAMI Park.
Former ATA Safety Truck driver Glen Schmidtke was at the wheel to take the long way home, calling in to Canberra and through central Sydney before making its way up Highway One to Brisbane.
