Nominations for the 2020 HVIA National Awards have opened today.
HVIA Chief Executive Todd Hacking said it is a great opportunity for HVIA members to recognise the dedication and commitment of their teams.
“I hope that we will see more nominations than ever to acknowledge the exemplary way that so many of our industry have stood up in the face of the challenges that this year has posed,” Mr Hacking said.
“The awards include some categories that reflect individual initiative, growth and performance, and others that are designed to acknowledge the achievements of your company’s achievements or perhaps collaborations across teams.”
Award categories open include:
- Product Innovation
- Safety Innovation
- Community Leadership
- Apprentice of the Year
- Peter Langworthy Future Leader
“The awards portal is set up to allow nominations to be started and completed over the course of the next few weeks,” Mr Hacking added.
“We know from the calibre of entries over the last couple of years that there are many deserved people in our industry who should definitely be held up for acknowledgement amongst their peers.
“The nomination process is not onerous. It is time very well invested.”
“We are eternally hopeful that we will all be able to celebrate those achievements together at our National Awards Dinner in Brisbane on 20th November, but if not we will still be communicating the winners via our website and other means.”
