2027 Brisbane Truck Show Dates Announced

Lock it in your diary! HVIA has revealed the 2027 Brisbane Truck Show will be held on May 20-23, 2027 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The 2027 show will mark the 60th anniversary of the event, first staged in 1968 when 21 exhibitors showcased their wares at Haulmark Trailers’ premises at Ipswich Road, Rocklea.

Almost six decades on, the Brisbane Truck Show now ranks as Australia’s largest industry exhibition and the biggest truck show in the Southern Hemisphere, with the 2025 show attracting a record-breaking 54,790 attendees, smashing the previous high of 42,855 set in 2023.

The 2025 Brisbane Truck Show featured more than 36,000 square metres of exhibitions of the latest trucks, trailers, parts and accessories and related technologies across all three levels of the BCEC – the only event to fill out the entire venue.

Beyond the BCEC, Truck Week 25 extended the show into a hugely successful week-long festival of all things trucking including the Silverback National Show ‘N’ Shine at Little Stanley Street, The Depot Careers Hub at TAFE Queensland’s South Bank Campus, the Heritage Truck Show at Rocklea Showgrounds, and the Heavy Equipment and Machinery Show at the Brisbane Showgrounds.

“What started back in 1968 as an event to connect members with their customers has become much more than that – a week-long festival of all things trucking,” HVIA CEO Todd Hacking says.

“Amazingly, it now ranks as Australia’s largest industry exhibition and there are so many other events that run alongside the Truck Show that make it a compelling opportunity for everyone to get together in Brisbane every two years – as evidenced by this year’s eye-popping attendance.”

Todd says the 2027 show promises to be bigger and better than ever – a challenging goal considering the 2025 event was lauded as the “best ever”.

But he says HVIA’s passionate and dedicated team is committed to staging another world-class show in 2027, with a range of new activations in the works alongside the new Show ‘N’ Shine and The Depot displays introduced in 2025.

“We are already well advanced on opportunities to grow and improve in 2027, and we will consult with all stakeholders as part of our review process and strategic planning for next year’s show,” he says.

Expressions of interest in exhibiting at the 2027 Brisbane Truck Show will open in the New Year. Keep an eye out for more information in Talk the Torque and BTS socials.
