In 1968 our classic Thornycoft A1 made the perfect stage for the opening ceremony of the very first Queensland Truck Show, the event that grew to become today’s Brisbane Truck Show.
The collaboration between local industry members was the precursor to the formation of the Commercial Vehicle Industry Association of Queensland which was of course, where HVIA began.
Her restoration is all part of our 50th anniversary legacy project, with our intention to have her on display at the 2023 Brisbane Truck Show.
